American Floral Endowment (AFE)

The American Floral Endowment (AFE) is an independent nonprofit organization that funds research and scholarships in floriculture and environmental horticulture for the benefit of growers, wholesalers, retailers, allied industry organizations and the general public.


Floralife's purpose is to help people express and experience emotion by adding value to flowers and plants. Floralife generously supports CPI and the industry organizations funding research, and they are happy to do their part.

Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation

The Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation provides funding for research and educational projects, providing over $6.8 million since 1961. The Fred C. Gloeckner Foundation generously supports the Collegiate Plant Initiative's research efforts.

National Horticulture Foundation

The National Horticulture Foundation supports research in the green industry, providing over $500,000 to research projects in various areas of the industry. The National Horticulture Foundation also provides scholarships to qualified students seeking education in related fields.
